It's always good to see a past actor/actress of SS returning, no matter how good or bad they are (in terms of acting, of course).

Sentai is more easier, since they're not restricted to just one main actor. Not to mention they had a year or so to try to get back whomever they could. Unfortunately, Goseigers had to suffer because of it.

Not only that, but most of them reside in Tokyo, still, & that they're probably costly effective to do so.

One makes me wonder if Saban would do the same for actors/actresses of MMPR to Wild Force, considering that most of them reside in the U.S. & that PR is filming in New Zealand. Heard it'll be costly for Saban to do so.

It might be a myth. She said in an interview once that she asked to audition for the Red Ranger because she didn't see why the main character must always be male. Of course she might have just said that for attention or done it because she wanted the main role, but if it's true, it sounds like she was invested in the show.

And, of course, if she really disliked the job or wanted to deny her toku past, she probably wouldn't be coming back for Gokaiger

This has me imagining her as ShinkenRed or GekiRed and it makes me very upset.

I don't know, I rather liked Kaoru as ShinkenRed. And I'm glad she returned for Gokaiger.

It all depends on the character. Kaoru worked because of the nobleness and intelligence she showed.

Houka was a ditzy, always looking for love type... I mean she did at one point have 15 boyfriends. Not exactly Red Ranger material.

I would of loved to Tsurihime as Red though. Yuri / TimePink not so much (she always took second place to Tatsuya to me).
