Kabuto - Still the best.

I...think there actually was an explanation, or at least some hinting. Wasn't Mishima or Kagami's father shown with plans for the Hopper Zecters ala those Kabuto and Gatack Zecter plans? I always just figured they found a Yaguruma who felt useless as heck and tossed those his way.

I know some people say it's a convoluted mess and whatnot, and admittedly, this could bite me in the ass in a few months, but I really think Decade is going to rank pretty darn high on my list, at least for Heisei, though I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up my favorite, it's been ages since I've actually enjoyed the early episodes of a Kamen Rider series...well there was Kabuto, but that...can't happen again, can it?

You don't like Faiz and Kabuto b/c you hate mecha based motifs or you just don't like main character to be cool?

Takumi, Tendou, and Tsukasa are like the tope 3 coolest main riders in hesei era.

The plot seem good for Agito and have good fight scenes too, but the the flow of the story is boring.

Sorry, I don't find pretentious, stuck up, arrogant bastards to fall under my definition of "cool". :/ Tsukasa's probably the one "arrogant" main type that I actually like.

I agree Kabuto probably wasn't the best Heisei Rider show, but it certainly wasn't the worst like everyone keeps claiming. The first half was pretty damned good, at least. I thought Tendou and Kagami were great characters, especially Kagami. Say what you will about the plot holes and the lackluster 2nd half, but it was still a cool show. Certainly a memorable one as well.

I've seen all Heisei Rider shows from Kuuga to Kiva and a bit of Decade. I've found something to like from all of them, but if any were to be at the bottom of my "list" it would probably be Hibiki, which I still enjoyed.

Yeah, I'm waaaaay too neutral on this. :sweat:

Yeah, I really do need to see how it will turn out in the end, but Decade grabbed me from day one and hasn't let go yet. I have a good feeling about it, but I need to wait on that one.

The first 3 are my tops. V3 recently moved up as I've enjoyed it a lot more than I used to. Agito & Blade are still my favorite Heisei series, hands-down. Decade might fit in there, if it continues to be as good as it's been. After that it's really down to how often I like to rewatch the shows again. I've already said I like Kabuto so don't get the impression that I think it's actually bad, just not as much a favorite as the others. I have this problem of liking nearly all Kamen Rider, which makes ranking them really hard.

Wow, I really think Decade has a chance to steal the title of worst Heisei Rider series from Kabuto. Why are people liking that show so much?!? And it has problems beyond just the Kamen Rider Fake Shemps.

I hate the word best, each season brought something different to the table. Something interesting and amusing to watch. Calling a certain season the best may come as an opinion, I on the other hand find it rather pointless...
