Jackie Chan's Worst American Film?

The only Rush Hour film that deserved to be on this "worst list" should be Rush Hour 3. The other 2 is what made Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker famous........well in Jackie's case, even more famous than before. Rush Hour is the reason why Jackie Chan was able to pursue and do projects such as Shanghai Noon & Knights, as well as The Tuxedo.

But back to the overall topic at hand, "Around the World in 80 Days" is prolly his worst movie in my opinion. The "kiddie-esque" approach for Jackie doesn't really mesh well.......do you remember his cartoon series? Yeah, exactly

Jackie Chan Adventures was decent from what I remembered.

Seasons 1 and 2 anyways...the other seasons just felt rehashed.

A close second to Rush Hour 3, would be The Tuxedo. But the only reason that film isn't number one is because the third Rush Hour is worse for a huge reason. They overlooked Jackie Chan's role in that film and gave the majority of it to Chris Tucker. And what's funny is that it's the least humurous of the three. Shows how well Tucker earned that 30 mil he fought for. :rolleyes2: Rush Hour 2 did the best at the box office anyway.

Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker had it together so well in the first two. In the third, everybody just wasn't into it. At all. The writing was weak, and it was some of Ratner's worst directing too. Everything fell apart.

Though I'll admit I liked these two films when they came out XD

And Rush Hour 3 was fine in my opinion. Not as good as the first two, but it kept me entertained.

uh since i didn't see it anywhere on the options, I'm gonna go with "around the world in 80 days" because he played the FUCKING SERVANT an overall demeaning role for a star of Jackie Chan's caliber. it was badly done and it lacked any of the usual jackie chan charm and action

What's weird is that of all his American films, that's one of my favorites. He was pretty good in it. And I liked it, cause the humour was good, the plot was of course epic, Sammo Hung made a cameo, and I liked Steve Coogan.
