Is Toei giving Ryu Terui the Nago treatment?

Yeah, I really hope it's back to the calm Terui for good now, since that whole Gene Dopant arc had sooo much plot-holes for me. I kinda felt that whole episode was just forced and it just so happens they decided to pull one on Terui.

But he's always been a bit silly...it depends on the situation. People act differently in different situations. Does he really need to be all that calm when filming something?
The only time he acted "out of character" was when he was asked to do a kissing scene. And even that showed his original character at the end of the episode when he showed he didn't want to lose to something so simple.

Well it's not like the last year of his life was completely erased when he killed Isaka. He's made some peace with it but he's never going to be the same person he was then. He's still the chief of the Dopant Crimes division, and he's still one of the protectors of Fuuto. But he's clearly able to relax a bit more than he could when he was consumed by revenge.

Yea, I get that, though I expect his relaxedness to be more smooth and subtle. Still I don't really care, him wanting to practice kiss someone and anyone was hilarious...but not really him.

I just expected his comedy to be done differently.

This is true though, once shroud creeps up in front of him it's hit the books hardcore again.

Point was, they executed it in such a way that only the Riders seem fast-moving while whatever they attacked (when Alternative Zero was attacking Ryuki and when Blade was attacking worms) be in normal time.

Might not be much, but it's obvious the shot of Alternative Zero attacking Ryuki using Accele Vent is separate when compared to Trial Accel's fast forward scenes wherein it is just 1 shot played fast.

In Trial Accel's case, you can rewatch the part where Terui picks-up Tooru and Akiko.



Yeah, hopefully they stay clear of what happened in the Gene Dopant arc in the upcoming episodes.

What's funny is, he didn't even carry either of the two, he was just alongside them, so that means both Gene and Akiko could run as fast as Trial...:laugh:

That was my impression too, I mean that scene could have been done a lot better. :disappoin

... Like say cut when Terui reaches both Tooru and Akiko, then so on~ Since they pretty much showed Akiko and Tooru running at the same pace with Trial Accel and was even able to react as quick as him when they all ducked during Claydoll X's final attack. :sweat:

To me there was no point in Terui except for adding a extra Rider and a story to take up episodes and fill in the gaps until the main story plot kicks in :laugh:


I would've preffered Kirihiko/Nazca stayed as a support character both out of battle and in battle instead :laugh:

Er, I wouldn't think so. Saeko's still got that grudge against him for killing Isaka.

Which is what I really like about this series, even when a character stops being the main focus, they have something to keep them busy.
