Is GARO really good?

GARO was an excellent series, and it was my joint first toku (with Kabuto). It had maturity, good and well executed themes, a good plot, good characterisation, emotion, romance, atmosphere and of course, spectacular combat and special effects. Good suit designs too.

The best action scenes, blood, freakishly enjoyable, kicks lot of ass?!?! I'm definitely going to watch this :buttrock:! Some say the storyline is okay, but that's fine with me . It's nice to hear that many of you love this show, it's making me more excited he he. Is the music good too? Now I just need to download torrents for the episodes...

It took the 3rd episode to get me hooked. Then from there on, it was all great. But also it was very late at night the first two episodes & I was trying desperately not to fall asleep from being really tired. After watching the first two episodes over after finishing it, I appreciated them a lot more.

what! Thats crazy talk. But I admit there were some elements to the writing that could be seen as boring.

But a good toku for any spiring toku nut to see.

Eye-opening, but not that freaky imo.

But there are some freaky parts. One of the main villains, Barago, scared the crap outta me.

Yeah that first villain isn't exactly what I'd call freaky, just kinda weird. "Do you like beautiful women?" :laugh: Was that the pick-up line it used??

The second episode chain girl villain I guess could be called "freaky", & the doctor. I didn't find the show to be scary, but it was pretty darn awesome will good action & interesting villains. Like the finger girl.
