Is GARO really good?

Sounds like everyone here loves it...

Damn right has Azureus been fired up and the old torrent batch is on its sweet way to my HDD... :p

I watched the first two episodes of GARO and I wasn't interested with that. I was bored, nothing special for me.

It took the 3rd episode to get me hooked. Then from there on, it was all great. But also it was very late at night the first two episodes & I was trying desperately not to fall asleep from being really tired. After watching the first two episodes over after finishing it, I appreciated them a lot more.

^Whatever, man. GARO was freakin awesome. It did have the best action in Toku. Mark Musashi, who plays Kodama in the show, also did many of the stunts for the show. Mark is freakin awesome and with the combination of him and the other stuntmen and stunt coordinators, this was a pretty ground-breaking show as far as action goes. When you get to Episode 7, you will know exactly what I am talking about, best fight in the show IMO.

GARO has a pretty good story, kept me interested from Episode 1. Which is saying a lot since I got bored of Kamen Rider Agito and left it for about a month or so till I decided to finish it and realized how great the show was. It doesnt hurt to try, and Im sure you will be well rewarded when you do. It is easily the best independent toku for me.

His character Kodama was an awesome fighter too. He had one crazy fighting style, and it was pretty darn good. Only person I saw that could handle him fairly good was Jabi. Except for cheap shots from the back if you know what I mean.

what! Thats crazy talk. But I admit there were some elements to the writing that could be seen as boring.

But a good toku for any spiring toku nut to see.
