Y'know, though... My favorite part of the whole GARO saga was the nearly effects-less "Smile." XD I just loved the whole idea of the stage play and such since I've been in and around theatre for a good part of my life. I am also an artist myself, so Kaoru and her story would definitely have to be my favorite part. Nearly cried at the end of the White Night special where... well you know.

There's a different between "freaky" & "scary". Not all "freaky" things are "scary".

Yeah, GARO is fucking great. Especially considering it's an "independent production". neither Toei nor Toho. Excellent costumes, impressive action, and a solid storyline. What more could you ask for from an "adult" toku series. Too short was my only complaint.

25 to the series. Plus 1 extra episode that takes place in a theatre & is mainly just about Kaoru (the main girl in Garo). Plus 2 extra episodes that are about 45 minutes long each that give story for a second chapter of Garo. So 28 episodes if you watch the 3 extras.

The two extras that are 45 minutes each with the new chapter were Separate release, & I don't know about the Kaoru special.
