Iron Man: The Anime Series

Good lord what were they thinking? Iron Man is atleast recognizable, despite fighting a feminine pirate with a robot army.

Animax Asia will likely air this one..Hope that its subbed rather than being dubbed.

RIGHT! Good luck with it if it is dubbed by them. I hate their dubs especially the Yu Yu Hakusho Animax dub is awful. I prefer Filipinos dubbing it in English or Americans do the dubbing for it is much better.

For the Philippines: Give it to Cartoon Network and fast!

Thats probably the case then, although I'm positive that a U.S. channel will pick up all four almost immediately for a dub. From AX I've heard that Vic Mignogna wants to voice Wolverine for the new series, I thought he was referring to Wolverine and the X-Men as a replacement but I'm guessing that he's been aiming for this.
That sounds like Vic.

Well I suppose so, although it is curious why they chose to go with such a localization, more so in Wolverine's case. I've already heard rumors from the Marvel booth that the plot involves Wolverine not even being a mutant. Because like I said already its been proven that Japan loves Marvel for what it already is, they don't need it adapted to their culture for it to be a hit.
The trailer seemed to have a supernatural bent, so I figured we were Wolverine via Hellsing or something like it. Wolverine as an immortal magic hunter.

When they announced them I expected something the vein of toku Spider-Man. Wolverine hits right about there. Like I said, we shouldn't be surprised how far Wolverine is from the source material, we should be surprised how close Iron Man is. Even though anime Tony doesn't have the mustache.

Yeah I made a mention of Stark looking like your typical anime pretty boy lead earlier, like Light Yagami. I didn't know what to expect since there really wasn't much announced pre this SDCC aside from the picture you just posted and that Madhouse/Warren Ellis is behind it. Actually for Wolverine I was expecting something similar to the Nihei Wolverine.

Woah! I saw the teaser a couple of days ago and I love it! I'm looking forward to it and it looks awesome! Iron Man is my favourite Marvel character, so I'll definately enjoy this, especially since it has anime elements in it, such as character designs! I don't mind that they've changed the character designs to appeal to the Japanese audience, because that's what appeals to me! But I of course still like how the designs originally looked like!

Looks alright, especially with Warren Ellis behind it. Although ever since the first preview pics that came out about a year ago I've been wondering, why did they make Tony Stark some Light Yagami look alike?
I'm actually glad that they made Tony Stark that way, although I wouldn't have minded if they kept him looking the same as he originally did. I'm also liking that bad guy! He looks cool and the way he put his armour on was awesome! To be honest, I actually prefer a kid Tony Stark as Iron Man like in Iron Man: Armored Adventures rather than an adult one. I prefer teenage main characters holding the responsability of a superhero. But still, I wouldn't mind if he's an adult in the anime, and he's looking so. He looks cool, too. Anyway, I'm definately looking foward to this and I know it'll be awesome!:D

:buttrock::buttrock::buttrock::buttrock::buttrock: This looks so Amazing! :O_O::O_O: I love all the detail, and design, the Action looked simply amazing.

So since this will be a series, what channel will It be on? Since It's an Anime this will be In Japan first right? Or both US and Japan?

I'd love to watch this on my TV.
