I'm soooo mad at Warner Bros!!

Why do they have to go with a reboot Superman instead of the sequel of Superman Returns?! Oh wait... a lot people will say... "SR sucked hard. Bryan Singer sucked! He should've gone back to X-Men franchise!!!!" :rolleyes2:

DARK SUPERMAN?! Bad idea. This is not Superman!

I don't want to see the retelling the origin again!! Seriously.

I really, really loved Superman Returns and I thought it was a great film. Brandon Routh IS Superman.

Now, Warner have to go with reboot of Superman film. So no more Brandon Routh at all.

For sure, I won't even watch and support the movie.

Anyway, I'm gonna stick with Superman Animated Series, Superman DTV and comic books. I won't even touch the reboot.

I found it...I found one of the distortions in this world...thats why, I WILL SEVER THAT DISTORTION!!

EXIA, Ryuutaros, ELIMINATING TARGET!!

I liked Superman Returns, though I was a little disappointed and can see why others didn't like it. I don't think rebooting it and making it "darker" is a very good idea, though.

I think the problem is that they think that "dark" automatically equals good. And "lighthearted" is ham and cheese, and that's not necessarily the case. You can have a lighthearted (and "lighthearted" in the sense that people aren't getting killed and **** isn't blowing up every ten minutes, and the main character isn't brooding) superhero film and it can still be good. It doesn't have to be lame or corny.

Well, if this means we finally get a giant spider, gay R2-D2, fucking Chewie, no flying, and Brainiac fighting polar bears, I'm there

...And yet how many times have the comics rebooted their history? How many times have the comics constantly changed their minds on who General Zod is? What the Fortess of Solitude looks like? What form did Jor-El have? You are reading CONSTANT retcons and reinterpretations thanks to time-altering storylines like "Zero Hour", "One Million", and "Infinite Crisis"

I support the reboot, the Donner continuity's time has passed as much as the DCAU's time has passed. New continuitys allow fresh ideas.

reboot?
let's hope it doesn't turn out like this

lol, wild wild west probably quenched that guy's mad thirst for a giant spider.

Anyway, I'm cool with a reboot, since I'm not a huge fan of skinny pacifist superman (he didn't punch anyone or anything the whole damn movie) but I think trying to make it "dark" is a bad idea. Superman isn't a dark character, he doesn't live in a dark city, and even his enemies aren't particularly dark (save, say, Darkseid) Let's leave dark to to Batman who wears that hat better anyway.
