I find it increasingly hard to defend Goseiger

Not because my own faith in the show is faltering, but because the voice of the haters is growing louder and wider.

With a Toku show, haters are a natural part of each shows lifecycle. At the start they bash the new show since it isn't the last show/The show they really liked so it automatically sucks or over things in the show they don't like so no one else should and etc. Over time they usually ether find things they DO like in the show, or they piss off and watch something else.

Now, with Gosei, that is not happening. If anything, the voices of criticism are growing stronger by the day. It seem like it's more soured fan's turning off the show and sticking around to try to turn others off than the initial haters coming back.

Maybe trying to defend a scrappy of a season is a fool's game?

It's not a Bad show to me, if anything, i think it's better than Shinkenger.
Mind i wasn't really a fan of Shinken.

Most issues people have with it are the with the Mecha design (mostly the Headders) or the blantent Merchandising for Dice-O, forgetting that this is Tokusatsu, a genre that LIVES on the Merchandise.

And then there are people who just really don't like the characters, often unfairly comparing them to the Shinkengers.

I didn't hate it, i just saw it as another sentai series and didn't see what the big deal was about it. (The girl's where extremely hot though :anime

Why do you want to go through this dance, dude? Let the people who hate the show hate it, and if you enjoy it, go enjoy it. Anyone who with nothing better to do than stick around in a thread trying to convince other people to hate a series is mostly just worthy of pity.

It's just me and you in this, man. Although every time someone says Goseiger is better...ugh...I get either really sick or REALLY angry. FFS. Headders are the most ridiculous Sentai concept yet, this cast is freaking generic (Alata aside), and the most interesting villain in the new group is the one from the last group.

I like Goseiger better than Shinkenger, but I don't think it's a better series. It's mostly that I find Shinkenger frustrating, and I react more poorly to something that's frustrating than I do to something that's just unambitious. Personal hangups, they are hell.
