Could be is an understatement unless another way is found to get raws for viewing and subbing... cause they don't bring dvd's over here nor with good subbs.

I'll still hope for another way to get them, but they are really kicking us in the teeth with this. We can't be completely unnoticed as part of their fanbase... if so... well that's just Prime... :disappoin

Wow, that really does suck.

The process will formally commence in April and will primarily target users of Winny, the most popular file sharing network in Japan.​

However, I doubt that will stop Torrent users since Torrents can be used in LEGAL means. It also won't stop the old fashioned FTP methods and probably people will go back to the old fashioned warez method of hunting open servers to use their FTPs.

What I expect to see if that Japanese file sharers will located servers outside of Japan to place their files at and then go back to using torrents outside of Japan. I can also see that they will use more sites like Megaupload or Sharespace to upload unless Japan blocks those services as well.

i think jpn already does block alot of those kinds of services..i remember having issues getting stuff from mu and sendspace while i was there.. and my friend often has me d/l him stuff and send it to him over aim >_>

from what i read it wouldn't affect momo other than the fact that he wont' be able to find eps anylonger

its the isps who are going to be doing the regulating.. so if i understand this correctly, the only legal action is going to occur on those who live in jpn.. seeing as momo is in cali..i don't think that is going to affect him
