How to post thread as [Buying / Selling]

Its been a while since I posted here, and its been even longer since I've created a thread. But I have noticed threads where people post up to request items and such. I was wondering how does one do that and make it noticeable. I know this may sounds like a question with obvious answer, but if someone could just point me to the right direction that would great, thanks ~ :thumbs:

I assume you're asking how to put [BUYING] or [SELLING] before a thread title? Well, when you make a new thread, there's a "prefix" box next to the box where you type in the title. Choose from the prefix box whichever option that's most relevant.

Where do I find the button for a New Thread ? I tried posting something on the news page but it won't let me, I'm assuming its cuz I'm not a high class member or an admin =/

Wait, why are you trying to post on the news page? I thought you were just asking about thread prefixes like [TALK] or [BUYING] and the like that show up in front of titles sometimes.

Or do you mean the ORB section of the regular forum? I think the prefixes aren't available in that section.

No I just tried posting in general and couldn't find the button for it, and then I saw it on the news page and tried to but it wouldn't work =/

I "think" its the regular orb forum that I'm looking for..... its the page where lots of stuff are listed, like a bunch of random threads all lined up together according to order of post and whatnot.

But I have seen ppl put [Selling] or [Buying] on the top of their posts @_@ that's why I was wondering if someone could guide to it.

Any and all threads that involve "buying" or "selling" of items are to be done in the COMMERCE PLANET subforum. Those types of threads/posts do not go in the "GENERAL" subforum or in any other subforum here. The COMMERCE PLANET is the area of the forum that has been set aside specifically for those type of threads/posts, and that is the area of the forum where the [BUYING] and [SELLING] thread tags have been enabled. If you want to talk about any buying or selling of stuff here on HJU, then that subforum is where you need to go:

If you do not know where that subforum is, then just click the link that you have in your current sig, since it takes you to your other "for sale" thread, which is already located in there (in the correct subforum).

Oh ok, thank you so much ~ Like I said, its been a while since I started a new thread.... in fact I think the only new one that I ever started was my own selling thread. And even that I had no recollection of when or how I started it :|
