How can anyone dislike the Candroids?

Then why focus on the negativity and build on it? This seems to be happening very much these days. It's happening with the Candroids and it's been happening with Ryuki for quite a while now.

So we're not allowed to be critical of something we otherwise like? You can't be a fan unless you love 100% of a show's content?

Well, for my part, I don't find negative discussion of a show any less interesting than positive discussion. For OOOs, right now, I generally find its flaws the main thing about it worth discussing. When the show is good, it's good in kind of an abstract way that's not really suited to forum discussion. There's just not much to say about it on that level.

Now, I guess it could be upsetting to go to the forums and see something other than unbridled praise of a show you're watching if, I don't know, maybe you watch all of your tokusatsu by yourself? So you don't have any RL outlets for your enthusiasm. I've usually go through my WHOO YEAH ASSKICKAN reactions with my friends in meatspace long before I'm posting on HJU.

So, I may sound more negative on the whole than perhaps I mean to be. Really, I'm just not the kind of fan of self-identifies as a fan because she likes most of the things in the genre (tokusatsu). I self-identify as a fan because I have a very intense affection for the 10% of shows that work for me. The lesser stuff is interesting in its own way, but not why I'm here.

You always jump to your own conclusions and then you say that's what someone else is saying. Why? You don't have to do that. You can dislike some aspects, but to be posting negative comments all the time and without a good comment to go with it and then call yourself a fan without even showing how you're a fan is senseless.

Did I ever mention "toku?" No. What you're doing is more like: "I hate this." "I hate that." "This should have ended the way I wanted it." I haven't seen you express your reasons for liking something more than not liking something.

I mainly see Metal Heroes and Kuuga being left alone. There's also Flashman and Liveman. I don't follow your posts, but most of the time, it's just an expression of dislike.
