Hayao Miyazaki movies

[Faded.Memories]

So Rider of Abaddon and her fiance just introduced me to two Miyazaki movies, and I quite enjoyed them.

First we watched "The Cat Returns", which I really liked because...well I love cats. It was funny because in the beginning when they show Haru's flash back, with Yuki, I was like, " OMG I want stray kittyyyyyyy!" because I always want to take stray animals home.

Okay...and seriously...the Baron is hot for a cat. I sound weird saying that but he's all elegant and fucking cool and ****. <3

Then we watched "Howl's Moving Castle" which was...like...I didn't like it as much as The Cat Returns, but I think it's just because I didn't really 'get' the story at first...I didn't see where they were going with it. It has loads of funny moments though...I really love that the main character is an old woman for the majority of the time. And I pretty much enjoyed ALL of the characters...except for the witch of the waste lands.

It was fun making fun of Christian Bale as Howl too...lol. " I'm Batman....and I'm PRETTY OH SO PRETTY!"

But awww Prince Turnip had his heart broken in the end 'cause Sophie only loves Howl.

Anyways, I'm probably going to watch them both again soon. Anyone else seen these?

Oh mos def! I bought the complete collection awhile back! You have to catch laputa castle in the sky as well! Loved that film! All of it is good! The Cat returns is the sequel to Whisper of the heart!

Oh and if you can find it try watching Grave of the fireflies. That one is a Tearjerker!!!

'Tis a very gewd movie. My favorite.
