Have you ever wanted to stab the Delivery guy in the face with a fork?

Happens to me all the time. I usually have to explain to FedEx or UPS how to find my front door. :redface2:

It happened to me a few years back, when I bought some manga from a friend in Canada. I was pretty much downstairs hovering by the door all week, and my parents were there, and yet the FedEx jerks still didn't bother to do anything more than leave their stupid 'sorry we missed you' tag behind. Eventually, they ended up sending it back to the person I bought it from!

:redface2:

Needless to say, I did manage to get my manga .. after almost a month. Wasn't worth it in the slightest.

I HATE FedEx with a PASSION! On Weds I was waiting for a package at the house and I received an email stating that the delevery asshat couldn't find the address, so he said it didn't exist.

Calling FedEx and telling them that the house does indeed exist (it's down a dirt road off the main road) and UPS & USPS find it quite often, then telling him that there are mailboxes on the main road and you have to drive down the dirt road (which you would THINK would make sense). Next day I got my package first thing.

From what I'm told the drivers for FedEx are not actual FedEx employees but contracters. I'm thinking this driver just saw the slush on our road and thought "**** it" thinking no one would call.

:hmm:

Not that I'm trying to laugh nor shrug it off, but I find it very strange that it never happened to me or to my family in my entire life. We're doing fine with UPS and never had a problem. They knocked a door before and I answered it. All I have to do is to signed and take the deliveries.

We never have had encounter with FedEx before. I'm very sorry that that it has to happened to you, guys.

Yeah, all delivery drivers around here suck in general. Never knock, just leave the notice. Some don't even come to the door. Yeah.. leaving the slip on the mailbox at the end of the fuckin driveway really means you came to the door to see if someone was home.

But by far the worst is FedEx. Others have some percentage of delivery -- never get anything from FedEx first time. The worst part is, the distribution center we have to go to is a couple towns away, technically in the next state. I'm in Omaha -- which believe it or not is a pretty good sized metropolitan area; the center is in Council Bluffs, Iowa ... which is corn fields, dirt roads and guys with their banjos. And seriously, no fuckin street signs. I hate having to retrieve a package from FedEx -__-;

That's exactly what they do to me too. :redface2:

I'm sure I'll layeth the smack down.

How many Rock Bottoms do you plan to give?

and guys with their banjos.

Lol, Oh God, what are they usually playing on them?

As for the Delivery ****, I'm expecting a package within today or tomorrow, but last week I got one that was all wet from the snow and it seems the driver was a fucking lazyass to leave it on my front porch...yet not using common sense that THERE is a mailbox on the side of it, that can fit packages. When I open it, the music CD I ordered was still in great condition, so I was relieved.

Usually my packages come from the post office so the lady who delivers my stuff is real nice about it. She usually has to carry big ass packages for me too so it's now wonder why she bothers to knock so she doesn't have to carry it back.
However Fedex seems to have the knack of getting to the door and not even knocking on it.

Never really happens, honestly. When a package gets delivered, mostly to my neighbor upstairs, they make sure to ring BOTH doorbells first. I always make sure to check, but it's usually not my concern lest I KNOW I'm expecting a package.

However, what DOES tick me off is what they do if no one answers the door in time. Say, I'm out, and at the same time, my neighbors upstairs are out. They either

A) Leave it on top of the wall mailbox under the tall patio, which is placed in front of the garage door (my neighbor's car is often conveniently parked in that section, so the mail is easily hid if it's a package)
B) Leave it under said mailbox
C) The worst, leave it right next to the single stair in front of my doorstep for every one to see.

I particularly HATE C. Although it's mostly often not my mail, I get worried if it's either my upstairs or downstairs neighbors', and it's out in plain sight. Someone could fucking march up my steps and take the package without me knowing.

And half to most of the time, it's ALWAYS C.

I'd rather get that "Sorry we missed you" note than have a package out in plain sight in a semi-bad neighborhood.

Well I don't know how it works with other companies but with the post office I've been told some times they don't even have your package with them or on the truck because they know the boxes in the mail box are going to be full lol
