Has anyone bought anything from this site?

I've been browsing some old figuarts lately, and I came across this little site: http://www.appliancerepair-911.com/18discount2015t9s1m6pc2697.php/
They've got a number of deals which seem too good to be true (lots of stuff for standard prices, but discounted at 75% off), so I'm wondering how legit they are. Has anyone had any experience with them?

EDIT: Upon closer inspection, the number of items in stock (and how many they say they've sold in the last 30 days) changes every time I refresh the pages. So, yeah. Probably a scam site (unless anyone really has had a positive experience with them).

Google the site, see if anything comes up, and if nothing, then email them a few questions one by one to see their response. If it's professional, they'll answer well, if not, they'll either not answer, give a generic response, or get mad at you and block you...or curse at you...
Unless they're really good scammers, in which case they'll do both. IN which case, check the payment options, look at the paypal, you can always get a refund that way if you pay normally.

Several of the product links redirect to a completely different URL: "boxconsolidators.co.uk". Now, I couldn't find anything on the site you linked, but THAT site shows up on a list of scam sites I found here: http://news.seagm.com/scam-alert-payment-itunes-gift-card/

Furthermore, when I go to check out I see this message:

"You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)"

That tells me that the site was made from a template, and probably in a hurry. I also notice that they are attempting to charge $7.50 for shipping when the product info page bore a badge indicating that shipping is free.

Upon getting to the final checkout page, I see the very scam mentioned on that site I linked above.

Sorry, but this site is fake and trying to scam you.

the whole fact that the site is called "appliancerepair911" and they are listing imported japanese toys as their stock is all you need to know

The best deals are often in the most unexpected places. Better to just be careful and do your research than write it off as a matter of course when you might be losing out.

Besides, these kinds of topics are good for teaching other people the warning signs that they might be getting scammed. And when it *isn't* as obvious as an incongruous URL, that kind of knowledge is good to have.

Education (both my own and others) was pretty much the exact reason I started this thread. I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it had my first figuart not come from a place called "pickyourshoes.com" (seriously). I'm considering starting a thread that's just a list of trusted import sites like this for the sole purpose of educating others (and acting as an FAQ), but I'm not sure I should be trusted to always update it.
