Had a good birthday! I was in Philadelphia for the past few days (came back tonight) to take my big brother back home, and stay at his new house for the weekend! (I'm impressed with it!) For my birthday, I was taken to a diner by family and friends! Also got to touch an iPad at a nearby Apple store. (I'm really impressed!) I also went to the Japanese supermarket Maido, and got myself 2 gashapon toys of Hello Kitty dressed up as Godzilla and Masked Rider 2!
Other than that, Dragon*Con was an early birthday present! Got to meet my usual favorites: Ted Naifeh (Courtney Crumrin), Darwyn Cooke (DC: The New Frontier), Derek Yaniger (local Atlanta tiki artist), Becky Dreidstadt (of Tiny Kitten Teeth), and others! Got books from Ted and Derek, who were also impressed that my own art had improved! Had a great time, despite an intimidating crowd. Yep, the con gets bigger every year!
