Gosei Sentai Dairanger - Thoughts and Opinions

I have just finished watching Dairanger and I hate to admit, but this was even then Gekiranger, Shinkenger, Abaranger, and GoGo-V combined. The plot was intense and the fights were real kick-ass. One of the best damn 90's sentai I have ever seen.

So, what is everyone's thoughts about Dairanger?

And you're right it's freakin amazing. The Martial Arts is great, the characters, story...all that good ish.

Nothing you should be afraid to admit because its a fact, Older sentais had much more thought put into them than just toys, nowadays plot is overridden with toys making the show pretty much and empty piece of crap, of course this doesn't apply to all modern sentai because some have handled story telling very well along side the heavy bulk of toys.


As for Dairanger Its Much Better than the "Ride the stock footage's Dick" MMPR S2 if you get what i mean, plus i loved Kou as the Kibaranger!

Dairanger has one of the best roll calls in and out of suit in Super Sentai.

I'm just halfway through but I know this is gonna be my favourite sentai.

Well, even though this thread has been done before, and there is even a different one on the same subject, DaiRanger is by far my favorite Toku series of all time. If I could only choose to watch one Toku series ever, it would be DaiRanger. The only flaws the series has as the 3 Bakas and the ending is a little too open, other than that, this show rocks.

Dairanger was the third Sentai I ever watched. I saw it on the Timeranger special, and my goodness, if GoGo V wasn't my first, then Dairanger would certainly be up there.

The Role Call is probably the most famous role call of all time, and nothing could compare to it. Gekiranger's role call looks like it was done suit actors with arthritis compared to the pure Kung Fu of Dairanger.

I only got up to episode 30...then I couldn't find anymore subs. :disappoin
But from those eps. alone I really liked it.
Once I'm done with Timeranger and Abaranger, I might see if there are anymore subs. out there.
