Shout! Factory to bring Gosei Sentai Dairanger to the US

>not giving it a Gosei out of five

In all serious Dr. Kain that was quite the well done review, I think it is a bit of a step up from your Zyuranger review. My only nitpick is that technically Tyrannozaurus and Dragon Caesar from Zyuranger also had the other mechas as armor, but considering Ryuseioh and Won Tiger are more humanoid and DaiZyuZin was a divided entity I could understand that being left out. Part of me thinks you could have snuck that "Jar Jar is a Sith lord because he uses drunken fist style" theory that's been floating around the past month in.

lol

Thanks. I learned what not to do after my Zyuranger review, although, it helps that Dai did have all of those subplots that made it impossible to talk about the series in a linear progression. We'll see how things go with my next review. I'm thinking I might do a full review of Ninninger once it is over with even though TV rips will be my only video source. We'll see how that goes though because someone started a rumor that Shout! is going to announce a release date of Kaku on bluray.com for Feb. I doubt it will happen, since even if they do plan to release it, that would just be way too soon, but you never know. I would review Kaku well before I even bothered with Nin.

As for Tyrannozaurus, I guess you are right there, but yeah, they were still beasts attaching to things whereas Ryuuseioh and Won Tiger are humanoid in form when they combine.

No idea what you mean about Jar Jar using drunken fists style though. I don't remember that in any of the Robot Chicken specials, but I haven't watched the third one recently, so maybe.

The negative to doing these reviews is there are always jokes I think of AFTER I have already posted it.

OK. I can definitely see why Saban had such a hard time convincing people to do Power Rangers after just watching 1 episode of this. I... really have no clue how to even begin to describe what I'm watching right now. Not to say it's necessarily bad, just... obnoxiously silly & a little hard to follow. They take it so seriously despite the ridiculousness to the point where it reminds me of Airplane. Plus, if I wasn't laughing so hard at that, I'd be a little annoyed that they keep over-explaining simple things & acting like I should already understand extremely complicated situations & plot points right off.

Well... At least I'm getting a laugh out of it.

My set has shipped in on Tuesday the 16th. I am 4 in and I have to admit it I'm liking this
series. There are a lot of faves for it.

1. Adds the lost Morphed Uniforms to my DVD library that Saban skipped.
2. 50 extra episodes in the MMPR II portion of the run.
3. Mystical war being fought in this one.
4. Rangers now use Chi Powers. (Not seen in MMPR)

Black Ranger swapped out for green so if Saban had used the suites we'd have
gotten our 1st Green Ranger 2 years earlier (Main team Green Ranger)

The show could time line run along side MMPR II since this is in Japan. (Jason's team is fighting
Rita at the start of MMPR and Rocky is about to take over.) This is due to White Tiger Ranger and
the Thunder Zords.
