Gokaiger: 35th Anniversary NOD thread

Episode 1:
-The Name Captain MARVELOUS is a nod to MARVEL. Before Battle Fever J, Sentai had no mecha and the Spider-Man toku did. Toei dropped the Spidey show once it was completed and "transfered" the mecha theme to Sentai creating Super Sentai.
-The foot soldiers of the Empire are nods to HESTLER, from Shaider. Some of you may remember him as Doom Master from VR Troopers season 2. I guess Toei wanted to tickle some Metal Hero fancy as well.

How do you know those are facts?

Not that I'm saying there not just want to know the source.

Lol it's possible. GokaiOh being in front of the earth could of just been because they thought it looked cool with Megaranger just being an after thought. "Oh yeah I guess this has been done before...Oh well still looks cool!"

The Marvel thing might have something behind it, but why would they randomly homage Hessler? Why would a show celebrating Sentai's 35 years even reference a metal hero? I think that that design might be based on something historical, because there's been other characters with that vase-helmet.

Like someone said, the only thing in the episode was Sunvulcan's Snack Safari, which itself was a tribute to Goranger's Snack Gon (just as Vul-Panther's love for curry was a nod to Kiranger). So, even that's a second-hand nod.

Does anyone noticed this that most teams who have the same themes are fighting alongside with each other less Zyuranger? I guess that it is a possible nod for Power Rangers.

BECAUSE ALL WRITERS OF EVERY SHOW WORK TOGETHER AND ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS HOW THEY CAN REFERENCE SHOWS THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SO THEY CAN MAKE NERDS HAPPY!!!

I also seem to notice that Ninja Blue's suit is sky blue as is Blue Swallow, Magi Blue, and Hurricane Blue. So, That means that Joe/Goukai Blue will have a crazy habbit of wearing all original and sky blue sentai suits.
