Godzilla (2014 US Film)

Godzilla has never really been a friend to all like Gamera, but during the mid-late showa era he was Fanderized into being more kid friendly, and thus less of a true monster and more of a anti-hero who's goals just happened to coincide to that of the humans.

He also liked flying like a rocket somehow....

Is this a remake of the remake of the remake or a remake from a new angle?

Hollywood why you no make your own original films?

It's the first Godzilla film in 10 years, 10 YEARS!

This isn't a case of hollywood being unoriginal (even though it totally is) this is the almighty comeback of the King of Monsters!

So has anyone watched the directors commentary? Getting the vibe that Rodan might appear but that just might be me being hopeful. Also some ideas on the timeline/continuity of the film, it may have just been Mr Edwards talking fluff but he mentions that he did the film as if Godzilla really existed all those years ago and the films are the result of a witness telling what he saw to some folk at Toho. It seems plausible if the whole secrecy thing is being kept up with the idea that the nuclear tests from the 50s were attempts to kill Godzilla.

Also another thing I was thinking about, they're walking through a giant skeleton at one point, what if that belonged to the original Godzilla that they successfully killed in 1954 and the godzilla in the film is a new Godzilla, it's not the first time that's been done in the japanese films right?

Hopefully, this will motivate Toho to get off their butts and revamp the series...

Fatzilla is awake...and he's drunk...and high...I blame Minya, Godzooky, and Junior for this.

He's gonna take his frustrations out on M.U.T.O.
