At some point I need to check this show out. The promo animation looked pretty bad, but one supposes it improves. G.I. Joe was never a favorite of mine, but I always felt the concept COULD be cool if proper work was put into it.

Go read Larry Hama's vintage GI Joe comics. That's as good as GI Joe ever has or ever will get.

For me there are really only two ways to handle G.I. Joe A Real American Hero and both of them are extremes. You either embrace the toy shilling angle and run with the absurdity that comes with it, or you make it into a war story.

The animation is garbage, the characters are lame, the music is awful, the story line is just A-Team. It's not worth two shits.

Agreed. I mostly freakin hate the animation.

I understand there are diff. mediums/styles of animation, but how the people behind this project can call it great, just has me lost for words.

Its like A-Team, but they replaced Mr.T with Snake Eyes.
