[UltramanZero]

Not to mention that Starless and Bible Black are hentai anime titles... weird.

They're also song titles.

Not much of any footage to see in the teaser trailer, but just the images of the cast in the Gatchaman costumes alone are enough to get me excited. I hope a full trailer isn't far behind.

Well it took them long enough!
Ayame Gouriki is so beautiful, I'm happy they chose her to play Jun. I'm even digging the short hair.
Can't wait till they reveal the costumes. Really excited!

If the movie is successful, do you guys think Toei would bring back the bird motif?

Only if its a sequel to Jetman. Otherwise hell no.

So if Super Sentai was turned into a "grim-dark, realistic" movie concept..........it would look something like this, apparently

[MattComix]

It's Gatchaman The First. :disappoin

Their helmets are strange and not in a good way. I can accept change at some points, but the helmets look strange and nothing like the originals. I can accept the general look if the helmets still resembled the patterns of the anime helmets, but this makes Speed Racer and the Last Airbender look FAR better than this. The lack of color looks soulless.

Did you REALLY just put this movie below the Last Airbender in terms of accuracy/design choices? Really? Thats completely ridiculous. The look might be heavily stylized but the basic color layouts are still present; just alot more subtle. Also I don't think there would be a good way to pull off the more avian themed helmets in live action and not have them look VERY silly.

[Daikamonohashi]

I think it looks like fun. I'm on board.

And the Speed Racer movie is awesome, so that criticism is moot. ^^
