GARO: Makai Senki - Talk Up!

A lot of interesting things in this episode. We learned there some kind of entity in the with the senate but it's not exactly an ally, at least not a friendly one. Jyaku has a different type is seal that can turn a Knight to Darkness, or at least it looked like that to me. Probably over thinking that scene to be honest. And only one of Dan's apprentices showed up. Although I wouldn't be surprised if that little line about the Knights and Priests going to war if this continues. It wouldn't surprise me if that was part of his plan along.

But I have to change my opinion on Leo just a bit based on the past couple of episodes. I still don't think he is the big bad for this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was working with him in some way.

Now a couple of question, exactly how many Makai Knights are there? Seeing how Kouga is working for the Senate directly I assume they wouldn't leave his area unprotected, unless he's pulling double duty. And is Karou living in the mansion now? I'm sure it's all proper and all since in the credits it looks like she has her own room but a little explanation would be nice.

According to somebody who seems to have read the novels, there are a lot of Makai Knights. There are those who protect the four cardinal direction and those who protect special places within the Makai, such as Kantai protected by Tsubasa. I haven't read the novel myself, so I don't know if it's true.

This is the novel BTW:

It's an official novel of Garo, written by Yuji Kobayashi, the main writer of the first season, so I think it's canon.

BTW, I'm repeatedly listening to Waga Na Wa Garo right now, the song is really awesome and just grow on me more and more. The lyric is also awesome, especially the part with: "Put your prayer in/The Golden Sword/It becomes the last shield for opposing the darkness."

I don´t think so, for what i can distinguish, its the very same seal that every other knight has been branded with. I believe that Wataru was falling to darkness because of the desperation he experienced (remember that in the cave scene he was about to commit suicide).

Yeah, I don't think Leo is on the side of the Knights.

It was fun to see the Kiva reunion in 14, though.

:O_O: There's a gaiden novel of GARO?

I was thinking, if Kouga wasn't strong enough to inherit GARO's armor at that time, would that mean we have to wait for a stronger makai knight to appear to be GARO?

 It seemed like I had Bado and Baron mixed together here.

Thought I was over thinking it, just based it on the line Jayku said afterwards about it being an "honor". Maybe he was his first one to get the seal therefore the first one to die.
