So what? I know family members who have been together for as long as I've been alive and they're not even married.

Me too, but...i know also a lot of people that knows each other, tomorrow are engaged, and on friday are living together, got married on sunday. And i know A LOT of them. So maybe that's why seems strange to me.

Yeah, four years IS a long time, and we knew we were soul mates from the start, but college would've been a weird time to be engaged/married, and her parents (and mine, actually) wouldn't have been cool with that.

Now we're out in the real world and adults (at least age wise) which makes it that much more special.
