Food Allergies

I'm allergic to peanuts. Have been ever since I was little. At first, I only started getting red in the face, but as the years went on, it developed into a thing where my tongue and lips would burn and I'd start to twitch uncontrollably. :\

Sucks 'cause I keep hearing people tell me how yummy peanuts are and how I'm missing out. Also never got to try a PB&J...

Anyone know where to snag some almond butter?

my face use to break out A LOT whenever I have McDonald's or chocolate during my junior and high school years, which sucks.
but now, it doesn't happen anymore whenever I have them.
oh, I dunno if this counts, but if I ever eat chicken floss, I'll feel nausea.
You don't need allergies to tell you not to eat Mickey D's.
What's chicken floss?

I understand that whole-heartedly...my dad keeps mentioning how much he enjoys cheese when he's eating it, and then I guess he notices I'm trying to telepathically shut him up by the look on my face and he realizes "oh ****, sorry son".

As for almond butter, I'm sure any health food store would carry it, as well as any big supermarket that carries specialty foods. I know they carry some at HEB, but I don't think they have them in California...maybe Raley's or some place like that (I used to live in Cali a long time ago, lol).

Oh dang! :disappoin You guys made me hungry again after taking my pechay and pork adobo here in my humble house known as Chronosgard with this thread of yours  :(. :shakefist

Quick note:
Allergies are caused by a certain degree of Eosinophilia (Higher than normal eosinophil count). I suggest you go to the neeeearest physician and STAT!

Good to know Chronotia! :) So that applies to all allergies or just a certain one? Hm, might have to ask my doctor next time I head over for my next check up!

Thanks! To add:

Allergic reactions maybe caused when the antigens found on that certain food triggered your body's antibodies that made a antigen-antibody reaction in your body and thus a result, those damn allergies. WARNING! If they are too much to be asked this medical term known as "ANAPHYLACTIC SHOCK" might happen to you. So I think go and ask the doctor (not me, I am just a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science student) for more information.

Grr... I may not have one but if the house or any room dusts are too much to be asked, GRR... My skin itches a lot. AH! Daikirai to these abominations. + I am a smoker's smoke allergic person. My nose is so sensitive to these gases.

I'm not sure if this counts, but when I eat potato chips, my face will break out with two or three zits popping out.

Not a allergy....that can happen to anyone. Its to do with the grease (I spell that right?) and the salt in them. French Fries can do that too. If you don't eat potato chips or french fries often...your face won't break out much at all.

I see, thanks for the info.
