I'm not really getting what you mean here.

As for this new Flash Gordon ... I'll wait and see. It can't be any worse than other Sci-Fi Channel shows and original movies in the past.

Exactly. That promo was, like, two seconds long. Not a lot of time to make a really big judgment on it, for me anyway.

I'll wait to make a judgment cause these are the same people who brought us the wonderful BattleStar Galactica remake (OK season 3's middle was pretty lame) But I think the problem is the preview doesn't show any alien backgrounds and people are used to the 70s film.
