So I got a 4 week old kitten, her name is Kat.

The minute I get home from work she starts meowing hardcore, it seems like she does it when she knows someone is in the house but no near her. I think she misses her siblings.

So I tell her to "come here" and she does and I put her in my bed and she will chill for a bit and then jump off and leave. Is this normal?.

Are there any tips anyone can give me to make the transition of living here without the other kittens easier for Kat?.

I remember you mentioning she likes to chew wires, try using a spray bottle full of water on her, or fill a pop bottle with pennies and throw it near her when she does it - hopefully it will scare her off it.

Yeah, I think that's normal. My cat did that too the first week he was home. I assumed he was just lonely without the other cats around. All I did was give him a little extra attention and he quieted down. Then after about a week or so, he started to get used to things and become more independent.

It is very normal for cats to just randomly up & leave- my cat would do **** like that all the time & it's usually because he/she/it's hungry & there's nothing to eat in that room- cats are very self centered.:sly:

If you're nice to the cat & love it it will seriously completely forget it ever had siblings, so you're good. Once it's used to you, that is.

My badluck already begins!. My idiot brother and his friend were sharing a brain and left the backdoor open after swimming and the new kitten we got ran out and is now gone. Wonderful.
