Favourite Fansub Group

how 'bout Gundam SEED Destiny...I used to watched Aone and A-Kingdom's version? Do they still do it after the series is licensed? I heard they change their group name...

Get SEED-Fansubs version they are the best. I've worked with that crew on original SEED.

I really enjoy the fansubs by AnimeOne(they're the best when it comes to Naruto), Lunar(the best out for Bleach), TV-Nihon, and Wannabe Fansubs(basically, because my friend is part of that team). He's also helping me load Gingaman vs. Megaranger, GoGoV vs. Gingaman and the GoGoV movie from VHS to his pc, which he'll then burn onto a cd for me.

I prefer ToriyamaWorld when it comes to BLEACH. They did afterall scanlate the manga until it was licensed. So they're a lot more familiar with the series than Lunar probably is.

I thought I'd ressurect this thread since I was not around to comment during it's initial life, hehe.

I like "Real Fansubbers" quality. Hikaru no Go is probably my favorite anime ever and they did a wonderful job with it.

I agree that "AnimeOne" is a really good fansub group as well. Naruto, Gundam Seed Destiny, and Ah! My Goddess I really enjoyed subbingwise.

"ANBU" (http://anbudom.net/) was really awesome for the Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars series and have a lot going for them as well.

"Anime-Kraze" (http://www.anime-kraze.org/) was probably one of the first fansub groups I knew about and had a great Gundam Seed Typesett if I recall.

"TV-Nihon's" (I don't think they like direct linking so please google them) style of subbing using text effects for toku was a great inspiration to me.

"Hero-Legends" (http://www.herolegends.com/news.php) has a charm to it as well (after watching some of their Turn a Gundam Fansubs). They started out pretty promising and I look forward to their future work.

And finally I can't forget to mention "Tokuplex" (www.tokuplex.com) here. Ofcourse I am biased towards it since I work for it, hehe, but really I have been very fortunate to have met such passionate toku fans who really go the extra mile to try and produce quality first and foremost in their subs. With such great groups like the above as inspiration, and so many quality shows not yet subbed in the realm of toku, I am optomistic about the groups future and happy by how it is progressing.

ToriyamaWorld was the best with Naruto, until they all got sick at how much the anime series sucked.

A-E & E-F's version of the CoTS trilogy was better, their translator loae666 was such a diehard fan he translated the novels.

Real-Fansubbers only did 42+ of HnG, because of a big argument with E-F's leader who was a real ass. Any previous eps you have of it is probably under E-F because as I stated previously, they are an offshoot of E-F.

Anime-Kraze are sellouts, they were diehard licensed subbers, then as soon as Jerry Chu of Bandai waved his hand they sold out to Bandai and reported any other Gundam Seed subber to Jerry Chu after it was licensed.

And Seed-Fansubs = best Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny subbers.

You SUCK. I just can't support losers of that caliber, so now anything A-K does I refuse to watch. I mean, its all well and good for YOU to stop subbing it because they asked you, but don't sell out OTHER groups. That's beyond lame. Its just like how I can't support places like animesuki and other places that stop carrying a torrent after the licensed version is out.

As to why you suck, I was just kidding. But it DOES mean that even if there's an anime I REALLY want to see, and they're the only ones subbing it....I just can't d/l it.

I gotta ask...how did you even find this?

I typed a search for fansub out of curiousity.

Sorry to hear that. I basically watched their Seed subs back in the day, but ended up stopping halfway due to faster sources. I still would get the A-K versions as they came out for my own collection, but I guess I lost touch with them eventually and I missed a lot of stuff they pulled. Oh well. Maybe I should say "Old A-K" from now on, hehe.
