Bootlegging is recording/remaking/making of an Unofficial Version of something that is being given away. While, Piracy is what WERE doing, It still is Bootlegging. There is NO Crime against Bootlegging, The Crime is in Selling the Bootlegs. The true crime is PIRACY. What the **** are we doing here? We're PIRATING.

Knight Isn't Selling the Series themselves for the profit of the series, He's selling it to us for the profit of the cds he lose for burning these goddam episodes that people want. If one of YOUR friends asked you to send him a few CDs worth of TOKU because say, he can't download anything off the internet due to strict rules on what he can download and can't download, and only a trusted friend can give him computer files. What the **** does your friend there do? Will you help him? Or tell him " Sorry, Find someone else. I don't like to Bootleg or support Bootleggers. " Or will your Burn a few, maybe 10-20 CDs of what he needs? And will you really tell him it's okay to not even payback something? I mean 20 CDs costs money. While it might not be a hundred dollars, it's still money. And if you can honestly say that you will give it for free, would you do it if you had hundreds of friends with the same or similiar problem? Would you honestly burn for them 20 CDs each and not ask ANYONE for money? If you say "yes" then your just bulshitting yourself. 200 CDs costs, NOT only money, But TIME. So Please. Kyo. For the love of GOD shut the **** up.

While I do enjoy TV-Nihon's Subs, Their system of working is highly Immoral.

Do you honestly like that someone like KR and the TVN-Subbers, who act rationally, are truly better than someone who offers you at very good prices, the same thing?

Yeah It's free if you get it from TVN. But ONLY from TVN. In the World of Anime, multiple groups can sub an anime. But in the Toku World, It's pathetic to see how that if TVN wants to do it, only they can do it. It's very Childish.

Kind of Greedy. They want all the glory and all the power. Even if it means, slower output for the overall community. And that is a wrong thing. Learn what true Morality is.

Still, ever since last night when myself and Mikazuki were replying to this thread still talking about fansubbing, he completely took it over, suggesting all our comments were directed at him only and not Herai trying to start up his group that might be doing HK fixes or shows that TV-N has started subbing.

Now, back on topic: Just to clarify, I was going to be doing HK fixes until we find an actual translator, & Ive found a temp, but we still need someone to officially be able to help out on our projects. I'm pretty sure we'll be sticking to the stuff Nihon won't bother to touch/finish. Older Series, & Indie Toku mostly. We're discussing Guyferd as of now. If you can help let me know. :thumbs:

If they started subbing it, like Kuuga, they will be on your ass. Just because a project becomes frozen doesn't mean they have dropped it. They will still call you out as some HK fixer even if you aren't one. Just like they have called groups script stealers but weren't ones.

Like myself and Mika said before, you might be willing to take the insults and ridicule, but fansubbing isn't a 1 person job. Fansubbing is something with a lot of pressure, especially since it's a hobby that's almost like a job you won't be paid for. Managing your free time to translate, time, edit, typeset, etc. isn't exactly the best thing in the world. There's also all the pressure from all the leechers that are like "ZOMG WHERE IS NEXT EP!? WHY CAN'T YOU BE AS FAST AS <insert group>!?" It's a job with practically no satisfaction.

I personally see no problem with the HK Fixes, I mean, If the original subs were bad, then go ahead and redo them. It just got annoying to see Kyo go around like that with his No bootleg Motto. Not that I'm a fan of Shinigami either.

More fansubs out there the better for fans. I don't care how you do it, so long as it doesn't involve human sacrifice.
