Well, joking about what? You honestly wouldn't say that Godzilla threads are VERY few and far between?! I've started a couple, and they died off. But I love Godzilla movies, and they were unquestionably my first delve into Japanese films as a kid.

Well I agree, but personally I feel that Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and SS are totally different than the genre that Godzilla and Gamera inhabit. Doesn't mean that they don't deserve equal, if not greater, respect. It's just that Godzilla isn't the same kind of toku. That's how I've always felt, anyway.

I have a cabinet with all my Japanese toys on top, and inside of it. And I keep Godzilla and Gamera toys on a different shelf than my some of my Ultraman and KR stuff :sweat: I guess it reflects my mindset too.

Me too, but I would like to point out that I feel that Godzilla IS tokusatsu, just like I feel that Power Rangers is tokusatsu. While it's true we see very few Godzilla threads, there's still a fair share of Godzilla fans here, there's not just something ALWAYS going on to talk about. Just my opinion.

And Keith, we've seen those podcast covers where you've thrown yourself in with the Dragon Knight boys, so don't pretend dude. :laugh:
