Don't be so sure. Shipping has been going up as of recently. Especially with the rise of gas prices, the cost to ship something also goes up.

see the flat rate boxes are free so sellers would use that but also shipping certain items in a flat rate box is stupid.going to a store to get a box costs money in which most sellers would not do but sometimes its better than paying an xtra 2-4 on shipping items.with the rise of gas prices true shipping will increase but still flat rate boxes sometimes are not worth it at all

People underestimate how expensive shipping gets when the item weighs more then 1 pound. Even a few ounces over. I've shipped S.I.C.s before so I know how expensive it is - and that was back when rates were lower.

That is true. However, it just so happens that last week I received a Den-O SIC set, from Japan, and shipping was $20. It is crazy to think that shipping from CA to UT would be the same as Japan to UT (even if it works out that it does cost the same).

Everything is easier to find/buy on the internet, but shipping costs are going up enough that it makes me want to find stuff locally, but obviously I'm not going to be finding any Kamen Rider toys in Utah.
