Do you pay much attention to typesetting?

I don't have a problem with different fonts à la TV-Nihon.

Using different fonts for special attacks is, I think, a way of conveying character and personality. And using logos in the back (TVN's Gokaiger sub) is a nice tribute to backstory.

I dislike overly fancy fonts. One that stands out to me is the fonts TVN uses for the Imagine and sometimes the color blends in with the video making it hard to read.

Inb4 someone like Kingranger sees this and types up another rant again.

Looks like the thread is going sour.

It's a good thing there are options in groups. If you like fancy effects that puts emphasis on that then you have T-N.

If you like groups that put an emphasis on translation and accuracy you have OT and many other groups.

It's all a matter of choice.

You seriously have a problem with someone translating Sentai into Squadron?

I guess because 'Sentai' sounds cooler for some.

That's the same reason Steve Wang used the term 'Kamen Rider' for KRDK because it sounded awesome, and he didn't want it compared to that other show.

I also dislike extreme cursive fonts with a million curves and twists per letter.I can't really remember any groups off the top of my head that do this, but their fonts are SUPER stylish to the point you can barely read them.

I don't actually mind TV-Nihon's extra effects, but I find them a waste of effort. They don't really add much and are basically just there.
