Decade's true purpose was....

Ryuutaros

"Training."
To recreate the Heisei series and the franchise through destruction.

A summary of Decade's concept -

Decade is a character that doesn't belong to anything, destined to travel for eternity and destruction for the sake of rebirth. Tsukasa tries to fight his fate by making friends and saving each world thinking he is doing good. He tries to find his "home" or place he belongs but in the end fate catches up and he must destroy for creation and connect everything.

Hence the tagline for this series "Destroy everything, connect everything"

The thing is, Toei used Decade to "Recreate" the Heisei series so they are connected to each other through destruction of the "Heisei" series and then revival through Decade and it nearly worked as it has opened up possiblities of future teamups between the Showa era and Heisei era.

Basically, Decade "recreated" the Heisei series and allowed possibilities for future team ups between Showa and Heisei eras.

Decade's true purpose was for Bandai to get rid of old merchandise and promote some arcade game while pretending to be this great 10-year anniversary celebration. Toei/Bandai probably thought the younger kids were too stupid to care and the overseas fandom would lap up anything they came up with simply because it was toku and.... well, Japan is cool >.>

This seems about right.

...and then rebuild...and then become nothing...and then Ascend to Rider Heaven (which mostly contain female riders).:sly:

aka "The 13 Knights of Ventara" VS "The Masked Rider Warriors".:castlerock:

In a Conspiracy Theory sort of way...that is 100% accurate.

Both Ryuu and Black Fang have basically hit the nail on the coffin in terms of Decade (even though Black Fang's point is from a perspective of a grumpy old man that believes kids of this modern age are fucking stupid, but anyway.....hehe).

Pretty much, Decade was created to be able to ressurrect the concept that made the Showa Riders popular in the past.........which was future teammups between each other both past and current Riders uniting in a certain event to fight their common enemy.

With the 40th anniversary of Kamen Rider coming upon us NEXT FALL, I expect Decade to make a return with some OVA-type special that will unite All the Riders (regardless if they can get the originals or not) with the new Kamen Rider of that year (whoever comes after W), and basically do a Heisei version of the Kamen Rider ZX special lol

Decade's true purpose was....

To get me into Kamen Rider. XD

Lol, sorry. But it's true. Kiva weirded me off in 2008 because I watched Wataru's henshin, and I was like 'W.T.F.? O_o"

Well, last year, I had no idea what Kamen Rider was either. ^^; all I knew was that it popped up on youtube when I looked up different Sentai

And it was the right thing to do, lookin at the amount of "OMGZ IT ROCKS!!1!!1!" / ":castlerock:" / ":buttrock:" posts here [they're majority in every f***in thread, but that's another matter], and the answers someone gets ["it rocks coz i say so!!11!" / "it's a kid show, relax and enjoy it!" / "you're obviously a troll coz you dont like what I like, even if i dont know/cant say why I like it" and so on] if only tries sayin it could possibily be bad. All of these proves that was the right thing to do.
