I caught a late show on a whim last night, any action fan should go see it. It was a lot better than I expected it to be. Very graphic and violent, which made me happy, and it didn't take itself too seriously. Lots of offbeat humor, really really fun. Great wild direction and editing with a wonderful ending, made my night. Have fun. Don't take your kids and/or mother to see it though.

Is this that movie with Jason Statham? The previews make it look...interesting to say the least. Kinda glad it doesn't take itself too serious, the plot and the commercials make it sound like it takes itself way too serious. I'll probably see it tomorrow then, good way to kill a few hours right?

When I saw the trailer, I thought they were trying to make up for Transporter 2, but after seeing some scenes online I thought it was going to be really goofy. And it is. But in a really good, video gamey, fun way.

Good to hear it's not horrible. I've liked every movie Jason Statham has been in, but after seeing the previews thought the movie might suck bad.

Transporter 2 really, really didn't jive with me, but I accept Crank as an apology of sorts from Statham and Crank more than makes up for some of the stupid-ridiculousness of Transporter 2 with its own fun-ridiculousness.

Edit: And Amy Smart is super hot.

I sort of thought this movie would be good. Last movie I saw Jason Statham in was "Snatch" though, so if I see it, him as a "badass" will be a bit....unbelievable.

Jason Statham was born badass, the only time he's really acting is in roles like Turkish and Bacon.
