I know, but those are fantasy shows/movies.

This movie is based in our reality where there are no super heroes or powers.

Although I can believe keeping your heart rate up via adrenaline a LOT easier than grabbing on to High Voltage equipment. Electricity doesn't exactly go directly to your heart and stop.
