Could Power Rangers continue without Sentai?

Actually the concept of the Spirit Rangers are American-Based, while they weren't in the original. Though they are retooled suits ,we have to remember that Titanium Ranger from LSR. He's about as American made as these three .
Well, yeah they're just re-tooled suits. So they can fit in with the season (would you rather have this?). I don't think it's really fair to count that against them. Calling A-Squad totally original would be a bit of a stretch, I think. But look at the Spirit Rangers helmets. That's juicy, originally sculpted deliciousness right there.

Actually, If Super Sentai is laid to rest (which I think it really needs), it'd be very compelling to see Saban do something original with the formula. (ie. their own original Super Sentai team in the spirit of the Japanese shows.) They'd have to have Toei's approval over designs/mecha/etc. But at least they have the capital to do in-house stuff now.

And if Power Rangers really is popular in Japan (which I hear it is), Japanese audiences would be flattered to see Americans duplicate the Super Sentai formula. See, that's something I'd love to see!

And I'm sure Saban can do it. And possibly do it right, and do it well. Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures are doing it for Toho on Godzilla as we speak. Hopefully, we'll get something great out of them.

My views stand very strongly on this.

AN entirely original season of Power Rangers can not currently exist without Sentai. Toy sales and ratings are awful. They don't make enough money to produce their own footage and hope they make it back.

That makes two of us...

Man you guys are late to the party, that's why Toei is worried about if PR will continue or not since they make money off it too, that's why it pissed them off that Disney decided to cancel PR so now in recent series like Go-Onger-Goseiger, they shell out more mecha to compensate for the losses of PR and since in the last few years Disney barely gave exposure to PR hence the lost in toy sales. But Saban is back and Toei can take a deep breath, I hope Saban reignites the franchise, if anyone can do it, it's him.

Toei doesn't have to share in ownership of the PR franchise to make money off it. They would be making money anyways from royalties and licensing of the original Super Sentai material.
