Could Power Rangers continue without Sentai?

One thing that you're right about me. I stand by my very idea. What's wrong with me allow to express my opinion? Though we're debating over this Sentai/PR thing.

Why can't you understand that I'm SO sick of PR being based off of Super Sentai? It's high time that PR have its own story, its own fight footage. It's not THAT hard to do!!!

You're telling me that Spirit Rangers are not american based?! :eyebrow: Oh, it's not even funny anymore. Why are we arguing over this? This and that it's not american based?! You know what my friend just told me on Facebook? He told me that he think it's very sad that we're debating over this!

Now, KingRanger, we have right to disagree on certain term, but I stand by my idea! I'm going to say it again..SPIRIT RANGERS ARE AMERICAN BASED! Damn it! Can't you get it through your thick head?

Enjoy thinking the way you do

Well, Paramount doesn't own it yet, but I agree that it is likely that if Saban were to ever sell the franchise again at this point Viacom seems like the most likely company he would sell it to.

At least, I think that is what you meant.

Yeah. That's what I meant. Remember..Nick/Paramount tend to have their way, unlike Disney.

I remembered... Saban ordered the Thunderzord suits for an American Battle (original footage), but destroyed them an episode later. I really think that if Saban really put his mind to it, he could just hire Toei constantly for designs so that both of them would win out in the end.

(Also... the Pink Ranger in S3 wasn't part of Kakuranger. That was also original.)

Well, they did hire Toei for original footage (zyu2). But then it ended up being ridiculously expensive so we got the hack job we did for zord fights.

Where did you get that information from? This is very new to me. Destroyed them an episode later? Saban ordered that?

There was a full blown American zord fight in A Friend in Need. Then the fight with Rito Revolto at the beginning of season 3 where they get all blowed up. There's some occasional shots of original zord footage throughout season 2, but those shots look pretty terrible.

Thanks for that information, Quark. :)

I do what I can.

I just hope someday we can all learn to appreciate the differences between PR and it's counterpart. Oh, the differences.

Actually the concept of the Spirit Rangers are American-Based, while they weren't in the original. Though they are retooled suits ,we have to remember that Titanium Ranger from LSR. He's about as American made as these three .

Power Rangers can have a separate story from the source , look at Mighty Morphin. I back you on wanting an American Power Rangers as long as they keep the designers from Japan or get ones here that are suitable for the job.
