Could Power Rangers continue without Sentai?

It would have it's upsides and downsides, just like relying on Sentai footage.

I really don't think I would be that hard for Power Rangers to continue without Sentai? I mean it might actually be eaiser because they don't have to worry about adapting Sentai Footage(They can easily buy some of the old Sentai costums), can have a darker story that will attract a new audiance, and probably a lot of other stuff that will be awesome.

Toei is the heart of Power Rangers no matter what anyone says or thinks. Without it we'll end up with bullshit fight scenes like MMPR Season 3 and even without the actual good zord footage.

Yea, the only good original fight footage was mostly from Space and Galaxy, plus American made zord fights don't even last a minute showing how expensive it is to do it themselves.

I am surprised no one has mentioned this. If Sentai were to go to rest, then Saban could easily just do it ANIMATED. It would save tons on money and still have all the battlizers, Zords, ect... in the world therefore still keeping the Toys to sell but making at a cheaper price therefore more money. Thats how I see it if Toei ended sentai. Heck they could even get alot of the Original actors to voice act their characters. Jason David Frank would not have worries about covering his Tatooes, ECT... except for Thuy Trang though (sniff).

It wouldn't save them money no. They would have to pay for animation, voice actors, etc. Sentai is premade footage. They don't have to spend a dime on it.

No one mentioned it because that is not the same as what this thread is asking. Having to go to an animated series would mean that no, it could not make it without Sentai.

What part of Tokusatsu being LIVE action do you people not comprehend?.

The beauty of Toku and PR is the fact that it's live action... Do you not get this?.

I know full well that doing it animeted would not be Toku and I love Toku.

To KingRanger: They still have to pay money on the American actors plus the American footage like the Battlizers. I would think it cost around or less than what they pay for that footage. Also I know adabation of Sentai is cheaper thats why I said "If Sentai were to go to rest"
