okay i finally have the time to watch All rider vs dai shocker ( yea, busy studying for the tests and assignments)

and i end up even more confused than that of when i watch the series....
So, anyone can help me clear somethings up?

First of all, how does the movie link to the series??? I mean we saw di-end shoot tsukasa and then in the movie, it was like a totally different story!???

2nd, Suddenly tsukasa become leader of dai shocker and wants to destroy em after he was kicked out? and wheree is wataru??? and also Blade guy????

And the riders that he fought, are they frm AU or the original universe????

Kuuga's ultimate form is kinda diff frm the series.........

How come natsumi's grandpa is a dai shocker member??

most importantly, how does any of this had to do with the series??

Well, this is actually meant to be a kind of AU movie, while showing some of Tsuakasa's past that is NOT AU (at least, that's what I remember hearing). In other words, this team up was made for us, but does not connect to Decade, other then Tsukasa's backstory. It was either that, or it isn't supposed to be a continuation, but can be stuck somewhere in the series (around the end, obviously). I believe Ikadevil can shed more light on this :P Now, with Natsumi's Grandpa, I believe they just used him to replace an older actor, and also used him because he could technically watch over Tsukasa while Tsukasa lost his memory. Anyway, hope that helped

All Riders vs Daishocker doesn't really go at the end of the series, so assuming it picks up right where the series ended doesn't work. Plus the whole thing about the movie coming out in August when the show was still going.

If you had to put it anywhere, it would be somewhere around Amazon's world. Immediately before Decade and friends went too the Rider War world.

Easy answer: Like Decade, the poor old movie doesn't fit in anywhere, we can go on about it for pages but it makes no difference.

I can't buy the Amazon's World theory because, IIRC, they even say they haven't gone to Tsukasa's world yet. I find it really hard to believe that the movie takes place during that one the shot of the castle, and then they'd go back to Amazon's World just because... well just because. It makes no sense. If there's a cut scene or something, or more to it than that, I'd be willing to believe it goes here. But if they could take the time out to show where Chô Den-O's supposed to happen, they can take the time out for Decade's own movie.

It also doesn't fit at the end, even though this was the intention according to the script. That jives with Toei's statements that it's "puts the period to Decade." For all intents and purposes, it was meant to be an ending.

And yet, the movie also isn't AU. Shadow Moon is shown in the series, they keep building up Daishocker and then the last movie alludes to it having happened, and that's supposed to be the "true" ending, ain't it? (although that movie's got problems of its own.) You really do get the sense that the movie is meant to happen in there.

It seems to me Toei made the same mistake with Episode Final and Missing Ace where they tried to outguess themselves and do the ending early, then they didn't follow through. But whereas you can write those off as What-Ifs, All Riders is a trickier beast. It wants to fit in somewhere, but it really doesn't.

But then obviously Toei doesn't seem to care that much. Look at Narutaki's nonsensical storyline. Or Eijiro; him being Doctor Shinigami was awesome, but it ended up being more done for laughs and some nostalgia than anything else (some would say that about the entire Decade series!) He turned out to be evil, got blown up, and he was fine by the end. War 2010 revisits that idea, and, well... if you've seen the movie, you know how it goes.

Ever since Gilgaras showed up in Kamen Rider vs. Shocker, series-movie continuity has never been Kamen Rider's interest and I'm fine with that. I can ballpark it. That's really all you can do. If you want to say it's post-RX World, fine. If you want to say it's post-Amazon World, fine. If you want to say it's 15:52 minutes into episode #30, okay. Just understand that we're never going to know, I'll never agree with you, and I'm just gonna keep placing it in my "it happened somewhere" timezone. :)

...unless we ever see a cut scene from #29 where Tsukasa says "On second thought, let's not go there yet."

I'm with you.

Plus, Sentai seems to do it with their own movies all the time........with the exception being the team-up movies which are usually AU most of the time.

Go-Onger's movie and Shinkenger's movie are good examples of how they manage to fit their movies into the continuity of their own respective series WITHOUT making any clarification of when it fits into the series at all.

Good ol' Igadevil to the rescue...sort of ...

I was thinkin...if this movie can be placed when Decade [TV series] was supposed to end? Aka after the first nine worlds? One problem is, though, that Tsukasa keepin wanderin worlds ruins everything [in before onore decade]. And probably there are lot of other problems too, even if placed there, that I cant think of right now.

I imagine as conceived, the movie was meant to act as Decade's ending before the show got popular enough to justify dragging things out for another go-round in Movie Taisen 2010. A lot of the appropriate pieces for finishing Decade off are strewn haphazardly about All Riders.

As executed, All Riders is just so poorly-paced and poorly-written and poorly-edited and poorly-everythinged that it just doesn't feel like any sort of conclusion. Things randomly start and then later stop happening, with Tsukasa's behavior throughout the movie too arbitrary to make the revelation of his origins remotely satisfying.

(I mean, seriously, Igadevil's synopsis of this movie was a much better movie than the movie Toei actually made.)

its different from series version of Decade "he has no story." unlike All Riders vs Daishocker which reflects story background of Kadoya Tsukasa's story as the Sekai no Hakaisha was former leader of Daishocker but the twists of story is interesting some of betrayal scenes may put Tsukasa get kick off and Shadow Moon as the Great Leader of Daishocker recently. Onodera's transformed into stronger version of Ultimate Form is having golden power different from Ultimate Form who completely evil by those black-colored visors. even Wataru and Kenzaki, wasn't there. but Showa to Heisei Kamen Rider teamed up. the Movie Taisen 2010 goes show the true final episode of Kamen Rider Decade and start of Kamen Rider W.
