Cirno watches through the 80s

if Fujii Kunio hasn't retired (or god forbid, passed on), he needs to write a Sentai someday.

I've always wondered why he was never given his own series as main writer...

He's currently a novelist, and I can't really picture someone like him or Hirohisa Soda returning to toku since they've been away from it for so long. They're also from a period when Sentai was less Bandaified than it now is, so I don't know if they could work with that.

Watching episode 34...

34 is the one where Bun goes missing, right? That has always been one of my favorites. I really like Bun and how he was by far the most affected by growing up away from his family...and that episode, his personal best, really defines his character.

Yeah, that's true. Ah well, a man can dream, right?

Well, I've always been like "Maybe Soda will come back for the new Sentai," but the more I thought about it...the more I'm afraid he'd come back, having lost his step from being away for so long, and then end up sucking and turn into Sentai's Inoue.

What was the convo that Kaura and Keflen had in 38 about? It was right after the mech fight and Keflen was playing the organ.

That said, 34-38 were really good episodes. I loved the part in 38 (which is everything Ohranger 23 wishes it was; man, that episode was disappointing) where, after Red fights some grunts, his teammates grab him and Wanda's like "What? No! This is my fight!!" :laugh:

If I remember correctly, Kaura was hinting that he knew something about Keflen that even he was ignorant of.

^ That was in episode 36.

Kaura was accusing Keflen of deliberately sending Wanda out to interfere with his plan, knowing that the light that would be emitted from Wanda's Killer Saber was the monster's weakness. Keflen denies it and insults Kaura, but it's kinda obvious...

Wtf, Toei? :laugh:
Anyways, on 45 now and, I didn't expect myself to feel so sad during 43. At first, I was like "You dumb guys, don't save that guy, he's the enemy!" but, it just boiled down to dat ending and.. ;_;

Also, I was watching Flashman with my sis in the room (she was playing the ps2) and the "Anti-Flash Syndrome" started popping up (with them being shocked upon touching the Tokimuras); she asked what happened, I tried explaining on how it seems the Earth is rejecting them due to their life on Flash Star and she goes "Oh..... does that mean they're gonna die?"

Just a couple questions then, I'll close this post out:
- When Keflen was gonna bio-blend the Alien Hunters together, the Mess officers came in the room in pain. Was it because of him playing the organ or were Garden and Kaura too awesome for them to take and they needed x1000 painkillers? :P
- Did Mag really have a video of Kaura recorded in episode 44 or was it faked for basically the same effect?
