Episode 22, Was that Magical Bird from Flashsei? Was it magical or something?
It wasn't from Flash-sei, but it had powers. It was immortal and had the ability to resurrect things (it supposedly went around the universe reviving things killed by Mess). It fell to Earth, injured, wanting help from the Flashman. Mess mostly wanted the bird to take its gene to create an immortal monster.
Episode 25, What took Jin so long to henshin?
The monster was fed off of the powers from the Flash-sei, so I think part of it was not wanting to feed the monster, but mostly because Jin had been injured by the monster and was hiding that injury. I don't know what the real reason was, except that the way it was written worked out best for Mess' plan to prevent the team from combining their mecha.
So why exacally did MESS go after him?
Just that he was a skilled athlete and worked out best to combine him with whatever Keflen was cookin' up.
As for Bun referring to Tokimura as father...I think it's just supposed to be heartwarming and dramatic. The Flashman want badly to know who their parents are, but really have no way or time to find out (if so, what would you even tell them?) and there's Tokimura in the same situation wanting to find his kid. Often being a help to them, the Flashman grow close to the Tokimuras and they each sort of wish they were the actual kid.
I mean for the love of God they even made Cowler look like an idiot, sneezing and everything.
That episode is just goofy fun, I think. At least the Kaura actor handled it the best he could -- dressing like a chef sounds stupid, but I liked the sadistic satisfaction in which he played it. Sue me, I like the scene when they thought the effect of the pepper was long gone and Kaura calls for Kragen...and then the sneeze. Nakata played that in a respectable way, like he was going to murder someone if he sneezed again.
Not to mention that the episode was the second of two episodes to focus on Lou, who got really screwed in the series. She had two episodes to herself, the others she had to share with Sara.
Tokimura saves the day!, did he some how extract power from Flashsei to revive the teams powers?.
No, he only discovered that the Flash planets were aligned and for some reason that caused the team to lose their powers for a while and he found out the approximate time until the planets would adjust back to normal and they'd get the power back. It seems that that was the main reason their powers were acting up, but they hint at something more...
You guys say Cowler is the best villian in Flashman but I gotta go with Wandarla right now.
Wandarla is nothing compared to what Kaura goes on to do...episode 48, man...wait until episode 48.
