Episode 6 when Jin's bike is flashing it's light reminds me of Kamen Rider Black & the Battle Hopper. That is just too cool.

Here's a foreshadowing of a future sentai cast member that could be seen in latter eps of Flashman.

Yeah just like Pink turbo. What's the deal with that? they never do that in the USA/New Zeland with PR. Do these actors in japan get call back to audition for Ranger titles or do they just go to audition for another character then they read for that part?

Looks like the first arc is beginning. Some old man created a time machine to go back in time. At first I thought that was fucking whack and then when The Flashmen met him he explained why he created the machine.
Combining my viewing and limited Japanese knowledge did it go something like this?
The Guy and his wife were going for a walk one night and the ray of light zapped their first born son taking him away. The man created the time machine to go back in time to that moment so he could save his son from being taken away again. Am I close?.
Then the 3 Male Flashmen are all "This could be my family" which was totally awesome and dramatic.
I also think the time travelling fucked up the Mess' barrier scheme which now probally puts the Man and his Family in danger.
I wonder if it will ever be explained WHY the Alien Hunters kidnapped these 5 children.

yeah they explained it. i think they wanted someone to succeed them/experiment on humans.

The Alien Hunters are bounty hunters that worked for MESS in obtaining different lifeforms of the world for them to experiment on -- I guess the five unlucky Flashman were to be the subjects from Earth. Sure, it would have made more sense for them to pick a kid from differing countries, but this being tokusatsu, Japan's the only country that matters. :laugh:

In episode 9 the Father goes through a time wormhole again seeing past events of Japan, so what exacally happend at the end there? His ship was totaled and didn't end up seeing what happend to his child.
What is that Red "Platonium" The Father needs and the Flashman faught to defend?.
I recall Shougo telling me episode 8-9 would introduce reoccuring characters so I assume it's the Family. I knew that "Goodbye" between the Family and the Flashmen couldn't be the farewell considering one of those 5 is their child.

In the end, the time machine sort of clashed with Mess' Other Dimension. It happened everytime when father Tokimura was using the machine. Episode 8 had Bun, Sara and a lot of kids trapped in Mess' Dimension -- that's the first time we saw the time machine clashed with Mess' plans, allowing them to escape from the villains.
The Platonium object was needed to make the time machine up and running. Mess tried to steal it from the heroes so that it won't disrupt anymore of their plans.
The early farewell was only for a while as they will return again later. The Tokimura family were the staple civilians in the series.
