Chojin Sentai Jetman - talkback

Toran was played by a boy, Miku Kuga. http://talent.yahoo.co.jp/talent/8/m97-0131.html

SPOILER
[HIDE]Toran the boy might be a little annoying, but that's why he makes himself grow up to be the coolest, most bad-ass actor in all of tokusatsu![/HIDE]

Curious. Is it "Mirai Kuga" or "Miku Kuga"? Did this actor change his name along the way as he grew up? Many Japanese actors/actresses tend to do that as time goes by.

And yes! I know who you're talkin' 'bout bro! IT'S HIROSE YUTAKA! He's the most prolific bad-ass villain in sentai/toku history - as well as the coolest.

Miku. (The Yahoo Profile I linked to lists his name in furigana, クガミク). The kanji for his first name is the same as "mirai," so people have just misread it.

Up to ep 22 now, so far the series is kool and with out a sixth hero im not waitin around for them 2 appear so im enjoyin the series a bit more because of that.

People who hate Ep 21 Why???, i thought the ep was quite sad, does pooh tan ever get metioned again, the fight between ako and maria i think shes called was pointless as poo tah wasnt avenged lol.

when do Gai and Grey start fightin more or is it just one fight near the end of the series?

peace

also is birdman classed as a 6th ranger?

Well, I, for one, am glad that somebody else out there likes episode 21.

As for Gai & Grey coming into blows with each other, just keep going. You're on the right track & it gets better.

And sorry. Jetman does not have a 6th member.

Also, I hate repeating this question, but it's important: In regards to episode 21, was Pooh-tan's voice dubbed by Masako Nozawa - the legendary voice of Goku from Dragonball? It sounded so much like Goku's.

I checked the credits, and Pooh-tan wasn't even credited. (They used to rarely credit the voice actors for monsters of the week in older shows). It wasn't mentioned in the DVD booklet, either.

The Japanese Wikipedia says it's Rika Matsumoto, of Pokemon and JAM Project fame. But that place has been wrong about monster voice actors before, so that might not even be right...

Green Eagle, the character I heard that appeared in the magna, could be counted as the 6th jetman I guess.

It really sounded like Goku's voice, especially when Pooh-tan screamed before the first commercial break. Anyway, please be the judge for yourselves. I have a link here to one of my videos featuring the Pooh-tan episode. I hope this helps: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q-ggkErKRsA

As for other clips of Jetman, here's my playlist: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=3FE700B44809C926

i find it cool that, the ZyuRed and Zyu Blue were both in Jetman and then

became senshi after that. ZyuBlue played a a blue warrior in Jetman and

ZyuRed played a leader of the NeoJetman. It's like they were tested in Jetman

to see if they were good enough for Zyuranger.

Plus KibaRanger was in ZyuRanger and played the young 6thranger-Dragon Ranger. He was in a flashback.

there all tested in there roles, yet it's not there roles....yet :buttrock:
