Chojin Sentai Jetman - talkback

Some kind of Beast mode
1st 90's Sentai i actually finished! Great sentai, it's at the top

for the best. There are many twist in this series which is what

makes me like it. The Ending is Incredibly sad, but made it all the more

great!

So let's Talk it up

Cross Changer!

I remember watching Episode 30 on my local television when I was really young, until I get to watch the entire series in japanese about 2 years ago. not to mention that Jetman is my birth year series!! :buttrock:

Jetman is, indeed, awesome but I totally despise Episode 21 (the ep about Ako's teddy bear) and the pathetic CUP NOODLE EPISODE!! (wtf?) overall, Jetman is my No.1 favourite Sentai, followed by GoGoFive.

yeah i hated the pooh-tan ep to, but why did gai have to die ? WHY?! :shakefist

but it showed how kindhearted he became which is cool!

man i wish Jetman was my birth yr, mine is right after. ZyuRanger

I beg to disagree. Episode 10: the Cup Noodle episode was hilarious. The sheer concept of having a brand of cup noodle named after the girl you have crush on was really, for lack of a better term, WHACKED! I was laughing so hard at the jingle of the Ako Cup Noodle commercial because of its sexual inuendo of "eating Ako-chan" noodles. Sheer genius in silliness. Whoever came up with this episode should be given an award - and then locked up in a sanitarium (joke!).

As for the Teddy Bear episode, it was a real tear jerker (and of course a silly but funny episode). As I was going through the last moments of that episode, something subliminal just tugs at your childhood memories of playing with your toys & pretending to be a parent. It's the same kind of feeling I felt when I watched Toy Story 2 when I saw Jessie's story. I just couldn't move on after the last few minutes of episode 21 because it was so powerful - for me, given my explanation.

By the way, I noticed something about episode 21. Was Pooh-tan's (the teddy bear a.k.a. Gomi Jigen) voice dubbed by Masako Nozawa - the legendary voice of Goku from Dragonball? It sounded so much like Goku's.

Indeed, Gai's character is sumthing that today's sentai can only dream of. But not only him; Jettoman had pretty much everything. Tragedy, comedy, drama, romance, you name it it have it.

Gray FTW anyway, and also Radiguet and his twisted mind [and love, coz he loved Maria too] was cool.

I had always heard how great Jetman was and when I finished it a couple months ago I could easily see what all the praise was about. I absolutely loved it! :buttrock:

I've noticed that a lot of people didn't care for Gai's death, but it didn't bother me. I actually liked the way they went about it.....

He's on his way to Ryu and Kaori's wedding, the threat of the Vyram is gone, then all of a sudden his life is taken away. No rhyme or reason for it. That's pretty realistic, I felt. It wasn't related to the Vyram in any way, just a completely random act of violence that no one expected. It's sad, but I appreciated the realism. Murders like that happen everyday. I can understand why a lot of people wouldn't like that twist, but I thought it was a good way to end the show; taking a character down just out of the blue like that.

plus whats amazing is that he didn't really die at the end of the season, because the "season" was already over. it was a look to the future to see what happens then. it felt that way though.

i love Jetman

Its a pretty good show, A good and vadiguet is a nice cast of villains Vadgiuet being my favorute one. Speaking of episode 10, it seems that ako wears ako-chan print panties. My favorite episode far of the episodes I've seen is probaly episode 18.
