There are rumors of a Disney Live Action SM thats written with the same cast as HSM. Supposedly it followed up from the unproduced script for the Disney animated Sailor Moon Movie (which removed more than half the main characters). Personally if you ask me if though I'm not fond of Disney, they are the only guys that can do this and have it still feel like Sailor Moon.

Magical kC! WOOT!


I had this concept once for a show. Imagine a world where every major city has its own Magical Girl, a girl who fights an unknown evil force from space thanks to the help of a benevolent alien race granting her power.

Each Magical girl has this small animal companion who is her liaison with the benevolent force and was sent to Earth to choose her. New Magical Girls get chosen all the time and show up to defend new targets. Now a new city is the target of evil and a new animal companion is sent...however he's a newbie and not very good at his job...instead of instilling magical power to the girl he selected he hits the person next to her...a guy. Now when evil arise that guy has to put his pride aside and turn into a girl in a pink frilly dress and destroy whatever monster shows up...all the while keeping his identity secret to no only the world, but all the other Magical Girls who find 'her' fun to hand around with.

I could see this concept tweaked to use a married mother who turns into a younger girl instead of involving magical sex change. Not quite as comedic but can be just as interesting in the long run.

Strange. I remember downloading it from a site (forgot the name, I think it was called Toonami-something, and it had loads of video clips of Anime and Cartoon Network related stuff) and they described it as "the Saban nightmare".



The first pic reminded me of that horrible pic that was posted years ago on RangerGallery/RangerBase (if anybody remember sthat site), with men dressed up as Sailor Scouts. The Sailor Merury with a beard was the worst!! URRRGGHH!! Not to mention the horrible hairy legs.

And you're suggesting some old and wrinkly police officers who listen to country and western music should wear sailor scout suits? :eyebrow:

And I don't want to see a Sailor Moon wirth a High School Musical makeover either.

Script for that Saban pilot or whatever was god awful.

Jokes, you seem incapable of understanding them. Look at all of those actors and what major 2008 movie are they all in?

Sailor Moon: HSM is better than Sailor Moon EXTREEEME or a Sailor Moon remade in the fashion of the new Knight Rider or a Sailor Moon with uber amounts of drama or Sailor Moon GRIMDARK and so on. You see this project is very easy to mess up by far with just one style change. Cute and simple is the best way to go.

Um leave that to... never mind. I was going to say "Show this on Disney XD on evenings" but i changed my mind since it's boys only.

If it's made by Disney of course it's going to be butchered, to appeal to American audiences.

Learn to understand that it's not all about Disney.

Most Disney actors are terrible and incredibly overrated. Mainly by eager little fanboys like yourself.
