Oh God I miss those days...there was also another store in market village they used to have legit Japanese (engine gear) beyblades as well as I recall seeing they had original beetleborg figures.
Wow, you must really hate those stores...
I hate to say it, but I think those stores are as good as finding toku toys locally get. :disappoin
BTW, not sure but I think possibly got FantasyBox to start carrying toku toys in the first place. I remember the first time I ever step foot in the store, they were like a 99% anime store with only the odd toku gashapon figure.
But Toys2 has had toku stuff for quite a while already. When I first step foot into their store in 2005, they already had some Kamen Rider stuff. I picked up my first ever Kamen Rider item there -- Souchaku Henshin Kamen Rider Psyga. :buttrock: ...and from there, it all started.
Yeah, I remember the beautiful sight of the HUGE stacks of DX mechas... *sigh*
It looked like a sight ripped straight out of Japan heh...
There use to be a place that sold HK TOku DVDs in P-Mall...Tokyo Anime. That place closed though....in it's place is another phone store.
Does P-mall need all those phone stores? Seriously...
The pirated DVD stores that once solely relied on the sales of English movies are going out of business b/c they keep get raided by cops and even when they come back, people won't go to them as much anymore since DVDs at legit places are getting cheaper nowadays.
Ok looks like no one is representing Vancouver so here i am.
We've got 2-3 places that do sell Sentai toys although they don't get them in all the time. Sentai toys are very niche.
