Black★Rock Shooter - The Anime

[Kaji Motomiya]

Ladies and gentleman, it appears that the famed Black★Rock Shooter is getting an anime. Take a look at the trailer!

Coming soon, April 2010.

I've seen that trailer before and I am so optimistic about it.

Found my old thread.

First, we had the song, sung by the ever popular Hatsune Miku. Said song became an OVA that was released mid 2010, where six figmas the following months and year spawned from. Afterwards, the game for the PSP came out.

Now, for the year 2012, Black★Rock Shooter is finally getting her own anime.

I made this thread, thinking "the OVA is the anime series." I was wrong. Now the title has a place, and will fulfill its role January 2012.

Some people said that the BRS anime will be different from of the OVA or will be a continuation (people like me are one of them). But one thing is for sure: the BRS anime will start its broadcast next year on the noitaminA channel.

And... Yutaka Yamamoto, the self-proclaimed "savior of anime", is not involved in this project.

[Kaji Motomiya]

Who's Yutaka Yamamoto? How was she involved before?

He's a guy, silly.

BTW Yutaka Yamamoto (a.k.a. Yamakan) is a former member of Kyoto Animation and the founder of Studio Ordet, which they made the BRS OVA with him as supervisor. Oh yeah, he's also the production director of the Haruhi Suzumiya anime, after which he became well-known among anime fans for the ending dance theme he choreographed.

And... he directed Lucky Star but he was fired after 4 episodes.

I really hope that its a continuation of the OVA and there better be some yuri
