And they say this show can't be dark.

Anyone watch the current episodes? All were really well done. The current one "The Knights of Tomorrow" reference the current run of comics with Dick as Batman and Damian as Robin. Even has small Cameos of Professor Pyg and Pink Flamingo.

We even see Batman's first ever costume with the purple gloves and everything!

Man this week's episode was just filled with Silver Age Superman shout-outs. I never thought I would see Super-Ventriloquism mentioned on TV. My favorite bit was the recreation of the Lois Lane #26 cover followed by Lois playing dumb about her marriage schemes. Plus I think there was a stealth shoot-out to Super-Dickery.

The part where Superman smashes Batman into a building and states that he's faster than a speeding bullet after flying over to the other side and smashing Bats midair to the ground was a reference to this fight scene:

Also Superman's dialogue between Darksied in the clip above is similar to what Supes says to Batman before he attacked him.

...Superman ACTUALLY showed up?
This was suppose to air in season 3 as a very close grand finale. Since they're ending it on season 3 they plan on doing one episode with Superman and one with Wonder Woman. They will show up again in the trinity episode as well.

Finally the one hero we all wanted to see shows up.....Krypto the Superdog!

Wow dude really.....you fucking failed...
Do you not know "faster than a speeding bullet" has been a phrase associated with Superman since like....he was made?

What I meant was that that scene, when he smashes Bats through a building and smashing him downwards at the opposite side was a reference to what he did to Darkseid in JLU. The reason why I added the speeding bullet part was just in case someone didn't know which scene I was talking about.
