April Fools Day 2011

Nothing happened to me, however a classmate got prankcalled by her grandmother and uncle both saying her dog had died. One of them also said her Goldfish died (Not that she had one)

Told my ex (who seemed to have liked my grown-past-shoulder-blades hair when we were still together) that I was bald as of today. :B She didn't buy it for a second, though. :c

Back in 1991, I put a small, slightly blunted thumbtack (long enough to pierce trousers fabric but short enough to not penetrate the skin deeply) on a classmate's seat in the back row during lunchtime after everyone left the classroom. After greeting our teacher for the next class, we all sat down. He suddenly yelped as he jumped up and then glared accusingly at his confused seatmates. He looked for whatever it was that hurt him on the seat. Not finding anything, he sat back down and immediately jumped up again. Rubbing the back of his pants, he felt the embedded thumbtack.

Fast forward to about a year ago, I found out that he took a job at the company I work for. Sometime later, I highly commended a project he and his officemates worked on which led to his department boss promoting him and giving him his own office area/space.

Yesterday, I got to the office very early in the morning. Taking advantage of my high position in the company and rapport with the security and janitorial staff, I set up the same prank using the same brand of thumbtack and hid a handwritten note in his laptop saying, "Do you remember sitting on a thumbtack twice in 3rd year high school?".

To this day, he still doesn't know who pulled those pranks.
